Bylaws Update

LCCIWLA's proposed bylaws.

Changes that were made:

1.  Basic formatting changes were made to make a cleaner final version.

2.  Article V Section 1b - edits to make it clear the amounts charged for new members

3.  V Section 1e - clarifying authority for membership renewals

4.  V. Section 3 - edits to the entire section adds clarifying language (Section 3j) for membership dues and the maintenance fee; plus spells out specific authorities for exemptions.  It also adds Committee Chairs to not having to pay membership dues; just the maintenance fee like current Board members. 

5.  V. Section 4 - edits for clarity on the workday fee and for new members workday requirements depending on when someone joins.

6.  Article VII  Section 6f - edits the Treasurer's duties with more specific language to better conform to the actual duties.

7.  Article VIII Section  4b - modifications to the text to allow speakers during the election meeting.

8.  Student membership eligibility is extended from 21 to 23, while in full-time undergraduate studies.

9. Membership termination for unpaid renewal dues is no longer automatically effective on December 31, and will occur at a time determined by the Membership Director or Board of Directors.
