We are currently welcoming new members!
Membership meetings are held on the the 2nd Monday of every month at 8pm at the Chapter. (19231 Mountain Spring Lane Leesburg, Va 20177) If you are unable to make it to the in person meetings, you can attend the meeting using Zoom.
Joining is simple.
Attend the membership meeting on the second Monday of the month by either coming to the Chapter or using Zoom. During this meeting, there will be an opportunity for new members to introduce themselves, and for the current members attending the meeting to vote them in.
Download the membership form. Fill it out and either email it back to us (SecondVp@lcciwla.org) or bring it with you to orientation.
Pay your dues. Dues can be paid online with PayPal or by check/cash in person at orientation. They are paid annually, due by the 1st of the year. New members that join October-December do not pay dues again until January the next year.
Attend orientation. Orientation is held bright and early, at 730 am, on the 3rd Saturday of every month. It is held rain or shine. This orientation class will guide new members around the property and will introduce them to all aspects of each area. When the new members finish orientation, they will be given a quiz to make sure they understand the rules of the property and then will be given a fob.
Enjoy! The fob allows access the property anytime a member wants. It's their key to peace, wildlife, tranquility, shooting, archery, camping, friendship, green space, fishing, and everything else that you might find at LCCIWLA ...
How much does it cost? July 2024-December 2024
Individual. $270 (prorated annual dues plus a one time $160 initiation fee)
One adult 18 years of age or over and under 65 years of age, and their immediate children under the age of 18 living at the same address
at least 9 hours of volunteer work for the chapter or $99
Entitled to vote, hold office, act as a delegate to state division or national conventions
Family. $300 ( prorated annual dues plus a one time $160 initiation fee)
Two adults under 65 years of age living at the same address, and their immediate children under the age of 18 living at the same address
at least 9 hours of volunteer work for the chapter per family or $99
Entitled to vote, hold office, act as a delegate to state division or national conventions
Senior Citizen. $230 (prorated annual dues plus a one time $160 initiation fee)
One adult, 65 years of age or over
Entitled to vote, hold office, act as a delegate to state division or national conventions
Senior Family. $247.50 (prorated annual dues plus a one time $160 initiation fee)
Two adults, at least one of whom is 65 years of age or older, living at the same address
Entitled to vote, hold office, act as a delegate to state division or national conventions
Youth. $46
One person under the age of 18 who is related to a current member in good standing
Must be accompanied by an adult member at all times while on Chapter property
Not entitled to vote, hold office, act as a delegate to state division or national conventions
Student. $150
One full-time student 18 years of age or over and less than 22 years of age
Entitled to vote, hold office, act as a delegate to state division or national conventions
All new memberships prices quoted above include (except Youth) include a one time initiation fee of $160.
Benefits of Membership
Annual membership entitles each member access to the LCC-IWLA chapter grounds and events. Members will also receive the chapter updates and vote on qualifying matters electronically via email.
Your LCC-IWLA membership includes membership with the National IWLA and with the Virginia Division IWLA. With the National IWLA membership, members receive an IWLA identification card, IWLA decals, and a subscription to the quarterly OUTDOOR AMERICA magazine. The Virginia Division membership includes a subscription to the CONSERVATION RECORD.
