Welcome!

The Chapter's 3D Archery and Practice Range occupies nearly half of the chapter's property and is open to all members regardless of skill level. Whether you shoot a long bow, re-curve, or compound, the Archery range is a beautiful year round haven for shooting and honing your bowmanship.

When using the Chapter Range, There are a few housekeeping tips to benefit everyone's enjoyment:

Archery Range Improvement Project

2011 tasks (Updated 06/14/2011):

We've listed the Major and Normal Maintenance tasks as well as a (very rough) estimate of the time required to complete them. If you’re so inclined, please tackle the things on the list and let the archery committee know. This is a great way to get your service hours in and have a stake in the chapter.

Major Projects:

Reconstruct bridge/walkway over creek at 25.

Replace all the target bags on the practice range.

       Replace the worn/rotted 3D targets.

Notes:

WATCH OUT FOR POINSON IVY

Please let me know via a workday form any time spent on the range so that I can update the task list as things get done and you can get credit.

Specific Tasks by Target

Trim a 2 foot circle around each of the colored shooting pins at each target as needed. (90 minutes)

Repaint all pins at all targets with existing colors. (2 hours)

Spray paint can be found in black plastic "Milk Crate" near the door to the Archery House.
