MORE THAN 30 YEARS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE!

The Loudoun County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is a local non-profit, conservation chapter  of the Izaak Walton League of America, Inc. (IWLA).

We are dedicated to the promotion of the means and opportunities for educating the public to conserve, maintain, protect and restore the soil, forest, water, air, wildlife and other natural resources of the United States, in Virginia and more specifically in Loudoun County. Further, we promote the enjoyment and wholesome utilization of those outdoor resources.

Our chapter members are dedicated outdoors people active in local conservation issues. We maintain a private membership facility on 85 acres that includes 3.5 acre stocked fishing and canoe pond, rifle/pistol range, skeet range, 3-D archery range, playground, youth programs, nature trail and arboretum, NRA training classes, chapter club house with full kitchen, pavilions, campsites and more!

News and Information

For the last three years the chapter has sponsored a skeet team in The Scholastic Clay Target Program. The LCC-IWLA's own "Loudoun County Claybusters" attended the SCTP State Championships on May 30th at Conservation Park in Richmond and they placed third in both skeet and sporting clays. We want to congratulate the team for all the hard work they have done while preparing for the tournament. During the last year team members Seth Frantz and Joel Foley have both earned their NRA Distinguished Expert Rating and they have both have shot their first 25 straight. Warren Vernon has earned his NRA expert rating and also shot his first 25 straight, he is now working on his Distinguished Expert Rating. Aidan Chadduck is working towards his NRA Marksman 1st class rating.
